Upon entering high school I only knew two other people from my old town. Making friends the first week was challenging, but it wasn’t until I met Tom that my life would change. I remember the exact time and place I met him, the second week of school on the 3:30 train back to Suffolk County. We instantly clicked as friends that day after making prank calls and getting in trouble on the transfer train back home. It was through Tom that I also met some of my other first friends at Chaminade. He had such a glowing personality all the time, and I mean all the time. Whether it be 7:30 in the morning or one hour before a big final exam, he could always make you smile, something I admire so deeply today. I shared every morning and most afternoons with Tom my first 2 or 3 years at school, and he was one of the closest friends I had. I wrote a college essay about him last semester, which really helped to open my mind in retrospect about how great and caring of a person Tom was. I miss you now more than ever brother, and I hope to make you proud by doing what you had thought about doing before you passed. You may be gone, but your legacy will live on throughout me and so many others. Thanks for the many laughs, and thanks to the Miloscia family for bringing such a beautiful soul into the world. Rest easy, Tom.
