Thomas lost his life to cancer, but he never lost his battle. As his friend it is my duty to carry on his fight against cancer, even though he is not here.

Tom never backed down, and never let cancer get in the way of him living his life. As it was mentioned in his eulogy “cancer was his alter ego, and he was the only one who knew about it”.  His selfless dream was to go into research, and try to cure others of the affliction that had cursed him.

It is my dream that one day we can live in a cancer free world; a world where no one dies before they should. Thomas continues to inspire me, and drives me to make a positive difference in the world.
