Thomas was a remarkable young man whose dream was to become a medical doctor specializing in oncology and medical nutrition. He wanted to share his story to make others aware that there are many medical based therapies incorporating synergistic protocols that help patients achieve remarkable results. Tragically, due to multiple misdiagnoses and medical errors, he wasn’t able to fulfill his dream, but those who knew him and loved him will persevere in his name.
Here is Thomas’ story:
Prior to being diagnosed with sarcoma in 2014, Thomas was misdiagnosed multiple times, which delayed surgery and caused a rapid progression in tumor growth. Despite seeing the best doctors from many prestigious hospitals, his health was declining rapidly and his cancer was metastasizing. Chemotherapy and radiation were not working.
Upon the recommendation of his doctors, Thomas continued with more debilitating rounds of chemo and continued failure. Heart-broken over her son’s deterioration, Thomas’ mom made the decision to start incorporating augmentative medical nutrition therapies, which are designed to rebuild and restore the immune system, creating an environment in the body that is inhospitable to cancer growth. Cancer can only thrive in specific environments which was demonstrated by Nobel Prize winner Dr. Otto H. Warburg. Dr Warburg devoted his life to the study of the underlying causes of cancer. In his groundbreaking work, Metabolism of Tumours, Dr. Warburg demonstrated that all forms of cancer are characterized by two basic conditions: acidosis and hypoxia (lack of oxygen). Dr. Warburg discovered that the root cause of cancer is oxygen deficiency, which creates an acidic state in the human body. He also discovered that cancer cells are anaerobic (do not breathe oxygen) and can not survive in the presence of high oxygen levels, as found in an alkaline state.
Thomas began to respond immediately to his new therapies. Within a few short weeks his lung function was dramatically improved and he was feeling significantly better. He began working out and he had the energy to play basketball and engage in vigorous activities. His lab tests showed a 50% improvement and his pain and inflammation were gone. Thomas was doing so well that he was able to enroll in college to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a doctor. He knew he could achieve the best results by augmenting traditional medicine with science-based medical nutrition therapies which were having a dramatic positive impact on his health and well-being.
Thomas’ amazing progress was abruptly interrupted when he was injected with the meningococcal vaccine. This caused a downward spiral of events which resulted in metastasis and surgery. Shortly after having the vaccination, Thomas experienced debilitating side effects including severe head pressure, diffuse pain and vomiting. His doctor was not aware that the vaccine contained an enzyme called nagalase which causes spontaneous tumors to form and increases metastasis in cancer patients. Groundbreaking research by Dr. (first Name) Yamamoto demonstrated the remarkable effects of reducing nagalase levels through a compound called GcMAF, which activates the immune system and significantly reduces metastasis.
Many world-renowned cancer experts, including Dr. Yamamoto, concur that nagalase is one of the most dangerous enzymes to introduce into the body of an immunocompromised patient. Disarming the immune system leaves a cancer patient with no ability to fight. Traditional oncologists today realize the importance of the immune system in battling cancer which is why many of the current clinical trials are using immunotherapy as an adjunct to other treatments. Harnessing the power of the immune system is key in the battle against cancer.
Tragically, Thomas’ already immunocompromised body was unable to defend itself against nagalase. Soon after, he started experiencing intense abdominal pain and vomiting which doctors mistakenly misdiagnosed as gastritis. Follow-up tests, exams and an endoscopy procedure done at a local hospital also led to the gastritis diagnosis. Despite his unrelenting pain and vomiting, he was discharged and told he had “a slow colon”
Still in significant pain and unable to eat or drink, Thomas was re-admitted to another hospital where further testing revealed an intestinal obstruction which required surgery. Surgery was successful, but being in such a debilitated state, Thomas required immediate intensive nutrition therapy and specific IVs which were denied by the hospital.
The hospital staff prohibited Thomas from receiving any of the physician-prescribed therapies that were successful and had provided him pain relief. Desperate to help her son, Thomas’s mom tried to obtain an emergency court order to mandate that he receive the medical nutrition and other IV therapies that were previously successful. Sadly, she lost and the hospital commenced with their standard protocols. As days went by, Thomas became weaker and weaker. He began experiencing significant head pressure and swelling, resulting in paralysis. Follow up scans revealed brain metastasis and a possible stroke. Shortly after, his body started to shut down and he became unresponsive on Oct 15, 2015. Heaven gained an angel on that day.
Even though our beloved Thomas lost this fight, he did not lose the battle against cancer. His dream was to help cancer patients using multiple synergistic therapies and harnessing the power of the immune system. We will continue this battle for Thomas Miloscia and we will honor him with every person we save.
